Where are you from?
I am from Glen Ellyn, Illinois (a western suburb of Chicago).
What was life like before Brighton – college, work?
Before Brighton, I attended Saint Louis University. After changing my major more than once, I finally decided to study English, Marketing, and Creative and Professional Writing. I had a few internships and campus jobs, including working at a language immersion school and marketing for SLU’s Center for Service and Community Engagement.
What does your intern position at Brighton entail?
I am the Public Relations Intern. I work closely under the Director of Public Relations, and have already dove into the FURminator and Natura accounts. Our intern team is working together to plan the Open House event for the new office; and fellow interns, Lily, Madison, and I have started strategic planning for a new client. In the coming weeks, I am also going to work with the online marketing team on social media.
Do you have any hobbies?
When I can find time, I run and practice yoga. I love to read, go to concerts, travel, and swear by my daily Sudoku. I’m also mildly obsessed with Imgur and Buzzfeed.
What is your favorite food?
This is a toughie. I would have to say anything Indian or Mediterranean, but I love all food. Seriously.
A fun fact?
I have visited 17 countries! And by age 6, I could recite the line-up and personal stats for all of the Chicago Bulls.
